Terms and Conditions

 

Public & In-House Training Courses

1. Payment of the full training course fee is required on booking. The client will be invoiced and payment is due within 30 days. The course fee covers training, and course materials. Public Training courses also include lunch and refreshments. Companies using our In-House Training Course service must provide their own lunch and
refreshments.

2. If a delegate/company wishes to cancel or transfer to another course date, the following fees shall be due:
42 days or less before the date of the course – 25%
41-32 days – 50%
31-22 days – 75%
21 days or less – 100%
A substitute delegate may be provided at no extra cost.

3. People Tonic reserves the right to vary or cancel a course where the occasion necessitates. People Tonic accept no liability if, for whatever reason, the course does not take place. We will not refund any expenses incurred but will refund the course fee.

4. In the event of bad weather conditions or natural disasters resulting in a delegate not being able to attend a course, a transfer can be made to an alternative course for £70 to cover costs incurred by venue and caterers. No refunds will be given unless People Tonic have cancelled the course.

Online Training Courses

1. Payment for an online training course or company account is required on booking. Individual purchases and Company Accounts can either be paid for immediately online or an invoice can be requested. Invoice payment is due within 30 days.

2. Company Accounts are based on the size of the clients UK business operation. False information regarding this may incur additional charges.

3. On purchase of an individual online training course, the Client will be granted access to the Course for a period of 1 month. On purchase of a company account all employees will have access to all our online training courses for one year.

4. The Client’s enrolment key will normally be supplied by email within 24 hours of purchase.  Delivery of the Enrolment key for the Course shall be to the email address specified in the Client’s order and the Seller shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in the delivery of that email which is outside its direct control.

5. The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks, acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

6. The Seller does not warrant that the Course will be continuously available 24 x 7 x 365 but will use its reasonable endeavours to keep downtime to a minimum.

7. Company Account  Access Codes must not be disclosed to anyone outside of the UK or to anyone in another company.

8. An online training course demonstration is available for perusal of the client before a purchase is made. For each course, content is detailed to assist the client in their decision of whether to purchase. No refunds will be given.

General Terms and Conditions Applicable to all courses

1. To the extent permitted by law, neither People Tonic nor its presenters will be liable for any loss or consequential loss arising from or connected with any error or omission in the course material or presentation of the course.

2. People Tonic may periodically contact you with details of programmes and services that may be of interest to you. Please inform us if you do not wish to be contacted.

3. People Tonic reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts using the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
